From Quick 8 Outlaws to Top Eliminators, Modified to Junior Dragsters, the Palmetto Drag Racers Association (PDRA) is made up of a group of enthusiastic & hardcore drag racers. There are also non-racers who are members which includes family, friends, or just people who want to be part of a great club.
The Palmetto Drag Racers Association, which was established in 2004, began with a handful of members. Now, membership has steadily increased to over 100 members. The Palmetto Drag Racers Association is a club which tries to help people in many different ways. This includes promoting drag racing & fellowship to others, and also giving to families that are in need. |
Palmetto Drag Racers Association competes at dragstrips in and around the Carolinas such as Darlington Dragway, Orangeburg Dragway, Union County Dragway & Carolina Dragway. Palmetto Drag Racers Association competes against other local drag racing clubs such as the Drag Racers Association of Florence (D.R.A.F.) and Southern Drag Racing Association (SDRA).
PDRA general members meeting is the first Tuesday of every month, 7:00 pm, unless otherwise noted, at Mike Peake's shop. Alternate meeting locations will be posted prior to each meeting. You have 2 ways you can join the 2012 IHRA Summit Super Series points program at Darlington Dragway. You can meet with Wanda Weikel, Track Points Director for Darlington Dragway, any Saturday during the months of January or February, before or after any of the Grudge TNT - Gamblers Race event to register.
